We all live such busy lives that sometimes our family life suffers.  Family vacations are very important so that families take the time to rest, relax, rejeuvenate and reconnect!  There are so many wonderful places that families like to "escape" to for their family vacations.  I would like to share with you some of the most common places that my clients choose:

Beaches Resorts- the "Luxury Included" resort family vacation.  This is the family version of SANDALS couples resorts. 

SuperClubs Resorts- all-inclusive resorts, mainly in Jamaica ~ but they are expanding.

Club Med - the pioneers of the all-inclusive concept.  The past few years Club Med has been upgrading their clubs and making all of their clubs more luxurious and family friendly.  Some favorite clubs from the West Coast:  Ixtapa, Cancun & Punta Cana

Disney. Disney. Disney.  - Disneyland, Disney World, Disney Cruise Line.  All wonderful family options.  Disneyland is easily combines with other Southern California attractions for a longer vacation or Disneyland alone can be a wonderful family weekend getaway.  Disney World and Disney Cruise Line either together or alone is an easy week long+ vacation.  "Adventures by Disney" is a new tour program geared for families with destinations in both North America and Europe.  Disney hosts and guides tour your through these destinations with special highlights for both adults and children alike.  I.E.  On their Italy tour, while Mom & Dad go wine tasting, the kids are taken gelato tasting.

"Bridges" by Tauck Tours - Very similar idea to the Adventures by Disney.  Family tours with activities and highlights for all ages 8 and above.

Cruises are also very popular for families with Disney, Carnival and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines being the most favorites of my family clients; however, that is not to say that other cruise lines offer wonderful children programs so that the cruising experience is a wonderful one for the entire family!

Mexico has been a winning destination for families and is gaining more popularity each year.  The most popular resort towns in Mexico: Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta and Cancun/Riviera Maya.  Mexico's popularity is in large part due to the abudant choices for all-inclusive resort (especially along the Riviera Maya)

Hawaii - a long time favorite of families here on the West Coast.  We can get there easier than anyone else in the mainland U.S.A. and with so many islands, each island promises a different family experience.  From the hustle and bustle of Waikiki on Oahu, to the laving flowing volcanos on "The Big Island" of Hawaii, to the canyons and dramatic cliffs of Kauai and the "best of everything" offered on the island of Maui, families just can't go wrong with choosing a family vacation in Hawaii.

Caribbean vacations seem to be most populay by Cruise Ship, just because it can be very difficult to get to the Caribbean from the West Coast and families usually prefer the ease of "getting there" as a top priority when choosing a destination.  Jamaica and the U.S. Virgin Islands tend to be the easiest to get to for us.
