Client Review of Secrets Capri- Riviera Maya

April 2007

PLEASE NOTE: THIS REVIEW IS INTENDED TO PROMOTE SALES AS A TRAVEL ADVISOR, I WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR BUSINESS IF YOU DECIDE THIS VACATION IS FOR YOU.

Wow! Secrets Capri on the Riviera Maya is the best resort we have ever been to. We highly recommend that you try
this resort if you are looking for a hedonistic adult experience without kids. After a hellish travel day with
cancellations and delays (You know the drill), we finally traversed the road to the Riviera Maya. Our transport
company was waiting patiently even though our flight was over an hour late. They whisked us away in the company
van and we soon arrived at the gated entrance of Secrets Capri. As we traveled to the hotel I noticed the brick jogging
path, well lighted and quite extensive for those of us who like to work out during vacation.

As we approached the front entrance the people in the van with us exclaimed, “Is this your hotel? Wow!” It looked
magnificent with the soft flood lights bathing the floral scenery and imposing entrance. Attendants shook our hands
and escorted us in to the plush lobby where we were given damp clothes to cool our exhausted bodies and
champagne to assuage the stress from the challenging travel marathon to reach our paradise.

After registering we were escorted to a gorgeous junior suite (an upgrade thanks to Pam of Pam’s Paths to Travel).
The canopied bed and classic furnishings were noted first, but a quick perusal of the bathroom left us breathless.
Everything was crafted in marble and the whirlpool tub appealed to our tired souls. Two sinks, a separate water
closet, and a separate shower comprised the rest of this luxurious room. Returning to the bedroom area we found a
gorgeous floral arrangement with a welcome letter, a long stemmed rose, champagne on ice, a fruit, cheese, and
chocolate basket, plush white robes, and slippers.

We quickly changed and actually found a hotel restaurant at 10:45 PM that was willing to feed us with excellent
food and much needed wine. Returning to our room we found we were almost right on the beach and next to the pool.
We tumbled into the very comfortable bed and slept until 8.

The week went by too quickly as it often does when you are fully enjoying yourself. The food in the restaurants was
incredible, the service great, and everything was so clean. The pool and beach were gorgeous. The beach had fine
white sand and went for miles. Room service was efficient and our in-room bar was stocked daily with water,
Coronas, and soda. Every night our bed was turned down, romantic mood music was turned on, and there were
chocolates on the pillows. We felt like royalty

Although we were content to drink soda and water while we relaxed under one of our favorite huts on the beach,
there were plentiful drinks and food delivered by beach waiters, and recreation directors came by regularly
announcing all sorts of contests and games with cool prizes. Later after most people left the beach we would grab a
couple of towels and have champagne on the beach.

There were beach barbeques and poolside dinners which were fun and delicious. Our favorite restaurants were the
Japanese and the Seafood restaurant by the ocean. The food presentation and quality were like those you would find
in top class restaurants. The waiters were fun and friendly and very professional. For lunch and breakfast we visited
the Riviera Restaurant, which featured a buffet with incredible choices. My favorites for breakfast were smoked trout
and salmon with fresh fruit. The grouper was an awesome lunch choice with fresh salad.

We rarely repeat a vacation because we like variety, but we would definitely go back to Secrets Capri on the Riviera
Maya in Mexico. It is well worth the money and is certainly therapeutic for the stressed and overworked souls we
tend to be in this century.
